Mrs. Annie Saulnier, 92 , of 214 Champlain St., Dieppe, and formerly of Memramcook East, died Thursday at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a sudden illness.
Born in Memramcook East, she was a daughter of the late Laurent and Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Melanson. A housewife, she attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic, Memramcook East.
Her husband, Aimée Saulnier, died previously. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Yvon Belliveau (Dorilla) of Memramcook, Mrs. Léonard Dupuis (Corinne) and Mrs. Arthur LeBlanc (Marguerite), both of Memramcook East, and Mrs. Aurèle Bourgeois (Geneviève) of Moncton; and two sons, Yvon and Léo, both of Memramcook East; a sister, Mrs. Evéline Hoen of Lynn, Mass.; one brother, Alfred of Halifax; 33 grandchildren; 26 great-grand-children, several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Loretta, died in September, 1988. A brother, Johnny, died previously
The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic church. Burial will be in the cemeteru in the spring.
